Founded and led by Giovanni Filardi (b. 1997, Italy), Giovanni Filardi Design is an industrial design studio governed by reductive logic and structural permanence. Operating from Turin, the studio works at the intersection of formal clarity, engineering precision and the uncompromising realities of mass production.
The studio does not approach design as theoretical styling. Every project begins with the physical architecture of the product: geometry, material, assembly, manufacturing logic and lifecycle. Non-essential complexity is removed at its origin, translating demanding industrial constraints into coherent, market-ready physical assets engineered for permanence.
To date, Giovanni Filardi Design has brought more than 35 mass-produced products to the global market, working with international brands including Aperol, Pampero, Kasanova and Bergkvist. The studio operates across the full industrial lifecycle, from initial product architecture to production-ready development, preserving the integrity of the original design as it moves into manufacture and scale. This approach has received consecutive international recognition through official [d]arc Awards shortlists in 2024 and 2025.
